Achieving Carbon Neutrality
Flare is an urban wind energy system for high rise buildings that creates electricity from naturally occurring wind tunnels. This technology consists of columns of turbine generator units that are able to pivot into the true wind.
This system is able to work in turbulence thanks to our intellectual property. For existing buildings, the columns are built onto the roof and reduce electricity costs by giving excess energy back to the grid.
Flare has a simple and cost-effective maintenance, as well as a short return on investment of five to ten years. What is most exciting about Flare is that when implemented into pre-construction projects, buildings can be completely carbon neutral when paired with an energy storage system.
